Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) Program at Dalton State College

As a graduate of Dalton State’s Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) program, you will demonstrate competencies to practice social work ranging from foster care and adoption, support services, behavioral rehabilitation, probation and parole services, youth offender services, advocates for the mentally disabled and many other rewarding areas of public service. After graduation, you may choose to complete a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree that develops skills to work in advanced practice situations such as providing mental health counseling.
