Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) Program at Dalton State College
The Dalton State BSW program prepares graduates to enter generalist social work practice in a variety of settings including social service and government agencies as well as mental health and health care settings. A distinctive feature of the program is its emphasis on preparing social workers to work competently with diverse individuals and groups. Graduates of the BSW program may apply for admission to Master of Social Work (MSW) programs at the advanced-standing level, shortening the length of time required to complete graduate study.
