If you haven't already, be sure to sign up for a Nest Portal account. It's your connection to the admissions office at Dalton State College, and will walk you through everything you need to do between applying online and stepping on to campus at the start of your college career at Dalton State.

Virtual Appointments
If you have a Dalton State email you can get Microsoft Teams for free. And, you can download the Microsoft Teams app on your device from your favorite app store.
- We resumed face-to-face instruction on August 10 for the Fall 2020 semester.
- Masks are required, physical distance guidelines are being enforced, and enhanced health and safety protocols are in place.
- We have an updated calendar for Fall 2020. You can check the Coronavirus Update page to see changed dates.
- Flipped classes, hybrid classes, and physical distancing are a few key aspects being utilized to keep the face-to-face experience in tact.
- Especially now, it is imperative students frequently check their Dalton State email.
Dalton State applicants that are Freshman or Transfer students for the Spring, Summer, and Fall 2021 semesters will no longer need ACT or SAT scores. Students will be evaluated on a sufficient GPA and other admissions requirements.
We are now offering on campus tours Monday through Thursday. Our on campus tours will have limited availability and visitors will only be allowed to bring up to two guests with them. On campus tours will follow specific guidelines that you can view here.

Our summer and fall 2021 Orientation sessions are scheduled to be held on campus. We will have a virtual option available for those who are uncomfortable attending in person. Please note that these plans are fluid and we will continue to make adjustments for social distancing. Once you have registered for a session, we will email you as the session date approaches with more updates on this. You will register for Orientation on the Nest Portal once you have been accepted.
