Exam Description
The ACCUPLACER is a college entrance exam that assesses your knowledge in Math, Reading, and Writing for enrollment in college-level courses.
Exam Dates
The ACCUPLACER is offered weekly in the Dalton State Testing Center at various times. If you need to schedule an appointment at a date or time that is not available through our registration portal, please call the Testing Center at (706) 712-8252 or email testingcenter@daltonstate.edu.
Schedule an Appointment
To schedule an appointment at our main campus in Dalton, click here. Follow the steps below.
- Select "Entrance Exams"
- Select "Accuplacer"
- Select "Accuplacer"
- Note: If you are needing to take the ACCUPLACER Retest or POST, contact the Testing Center to schedule and appointment.
- Select an available date
- Select an available time
- Provide your contact information
What fees will I pay?
There is no fee for the ACCUPLACER. If you are taking the ACCUPLACER Retest or POST test, you will be required to pay a $30 proctor fee in the Business Office located in the Westcott Building. You will need to bring receipt of payment to your appointment.
What do I bring to my appointment?
- State issued photo ID
- Dalton State student ID number
- If you do not know your student ID number, contact admissions.

How do I reschedule or cancel my appointment?
You can reschedule your appointment online up to 24 hours prior to your appointment. To reschedule, click here.
