Dalton State classes at full capacity
Classes at Dalton State have resumed at full capacity. Masks are strongly encouraged, especially for those who are not fully vaccinated.
The health and safety of our Roadrunner family remains a top priority, and we will continue to do our part to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Students should be checking their Dalton State email and GeorgiaVIEW regularly for updates on courses and other departments on campus. We are doing all we can to fulfill our mission to educate students, even during these challenging times.
We encourage everyone on our campus to continue practicing the pillars of safety. Get the COVID-19 vaccine, practice good hygiene, and screen yourself for symptoms. Those who are not fully vaccinated or who have compromised immune systems should continue to use face coverings and physically distance where possible. Masks are still required in the Ken White Student Health Center, regardless of a person’s vaccination status.
Our plans were created with guidance provided by the University System of Georgia (USG), the Governor’s Task Force, the Georgia Department of Public Health (GDPH) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
