While obtaining her degree, she participated in preliminary research and education in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TFCBT) with an emphasis on determining the importance of utilizing one’s personal and individual spirituality in treatment.

Most recently, Jenny served as the Director of Outpatient Services for Focus Treatment Centers in Chattanooga, Tennessee where she has worked with individuals, families and groups struggling with substance use and eating disorders for the past seven years. Jenny uses interpersonal and values based approaches to encourage and invite students to identify and utilize their inner strength.

Jenny works full time as a Licensed Professional Counselor, her focus is to foster hope in the face of adversity when working with students as they navigate the many stages of their personal and educational life. She works to develop a genuine collaboration and sees herself as an ally in the counseling relationship, coming alongside patients to support the development of their personal values and beliefs that will foster growth and healing.

Jenny enjoys spending time with her family and pets, participating in any activity that will take her outdoors and practicing self-sustainable living.
