Day for Dalton is held each semester as a way for students to learn about involvement on our campus and in the community. Student groups, campus departments, local businesses, and non-profit organizations will be represented. We hope you will choose to participate in this engaging and vibrant event to learn more about our community.  

Students

Dalton State students and employees may attend for free with a valid roadrunner id. All students who attend the event and check in with their valid id will be entered into a drawing to receive a prize basket filled with local swag. Registration Information

Day for Dalton is not a time to sell items, but a chance to announce volunteer opportunities and bring brochures, samples, giveaways, and coupons to entice students to visit your business or join your organizations. We will provide each business/organization with a five-foot table, two chairs, and your business/organization name listed on the Day for Dalton event website. Additionally, you are welcome to bring additional items to draw attention to your booth. This event draws approximately 250 attendees including students and employees each semester.   

Participating groups will be able to set up their tables starting at 9:30 am and will need to have displays broken down no later than 3:00 pm.

The upcoming event is scheduled for Thursday, January 11th from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.

Student Groups & Campus Departments

Student groups and campus departments may attend for FREE. All Student Groups must complete the Annual Registration process before they are allowed to participate. Student groups and departments should ensure coverage at their respective tables for the duration of the event. Student Life will not be responsible for displays or supplies left unattended.

$40 For Profit
Any local or corporate vendor.

$20 Non Profit – Proof of 501(c)3 status Required at Registration
Non-Profit organizations must be able to provide 501(C)3 status.

All vendors must register no later than one week before the event dateOnce registration is received, an invoice with payment information will be sent to each vendor. Prior to Day for Dalton, Student Life will send important event details including a campus map, parking pass, and event updates to the email address provided on the registration form.
