Exam Description

The Georgia Assessments for the Certification of Educators® (GACE®) is Georgia’s state-approved educator certification assessment program. These computer-delivered assessments have been developed by the GaPSC and Educational Testing Service (ETS). Please visit the GACE website for additional information.

Who is this exam for?

This exam is for anyone going into the Education field. This exam is also for anyone that needs additional credits or certifications to continue teaching. Please visit the GACE website for more information, https://gace.ets.org/.

What items can I bring to the test?

Please do not bring anything to the test except for your Admission Ticket and acceptable ID. Please click here for ID requirements

Are there security requirements I need to consider?

ETS requires you to have your picture taken and also requires us to do a body scan with a Metal Detector Wand. You are also not allowed to wear hats, jackets, or watches while testing.

Please note: If you refuse to allow us to administer a body scan you will not be allowed to test. If you have a medical reason why you are concerned about the scan please let us know.

Where do I pay the fees?

You are not required to pay a proctor payment for this exam. In some cases the testing company pays the fee and that is the case with the GACE Exam.

When is this test offered?

Registration is now open for test candidates.  Candidates will be able to register and pay either online at the ETS website or by phone at ETS customer service:  http://gace.ets.org/contact/a>. 

Register only through the GACE website listed above, not through the Testing Center.
