Homecoming

Homecoming is a great time for Dalton State alumni and friends to reconnect to the campus and reunite with old friends. It is also a great time for current students to celebrate what makes Dalton State truly unique and outstanding.

The homecoming court is a part of the annual homecoming festivities at Dalton State. The purpose of the court is to recognize members of the student body who make invaluable contributions to the Dalton State community and represent the core ideals of Dalton State as a student leader. Throughout the week of homecoming, these students serve as ambassadors of school spirit and pride as a Dalton State Roadrunner. Voting for the king, queen, prince, and princess will take place during the week of homecoming, and the winners will be recognized during half-time at the homecoming basketball game.

Voting

Voting for Homecoming Court will open January 2021. To cast your vote, follow the instructions below: 

  1. Login to Roadrunner Portal.
  2. Click on "Banner"
  3. Click "Answer a Survey"

NOMINATIONS FOR HOMECOMING COURT WILL OPEN IN FALL SEMESTER EACH YEAR.  ANYONE (STUDENT, FACULTY, STAFF, ALUMNI, COMMUNITY MEMBER, ETC.) CAN SUBMIT A NOMINATION. 

Businesses now have the opportunity to ensure Dalton State’s Homecoming is a success by becoming a sponsor or making a donation to support Homecoming. These partnerships are what will make Homecoming a reality. 

Business or individuals may contribute at any of the following sponsorship levels: 

Roadrunner Elite Sponsor ($1500+):  Company will be announced as a sponsor at the Homecoming Basketball Game. Company logo will be placed on the Homecoming T-shirt, event posters, banners, and website.

Navy Level Sponsor ($1000 - $1499): Company logo will be placed on the Homecoming T-shirt, event posters, banners, and website.

Blue Level Sponsor ($500-$999): Company Logo will be placed on Homecoming event posters, banners, and website.

Silver Level Sponsor ($50-$499): Company Logo will be placed on the Homecoming Website.
