Homecoming

Homecoming is a great time for Dalton State alumni and friends to reconnect to the campus and reunite with old friends. It is also a great time for current students to celebrate what makes Dalton State truly unique and outstanding.

The homecoming court is a part of the annual homecoming festivities at Dalton State. The purpose of the court is to recognize members of the student body who make invaluable contributions to the Dalton State community and represent the core ideals of Dalton State as a student leader. Throughout the week of homecoming, these students serve as ambassadors of school spirit and pride as a Dalton State Roadrunner. Voting for the king, queen, prince, and princess will take place during the week of homecoming, and the winners will be recognized during half-time at the homecoming basketball game.

The weight is as follows:

  • Application 20%
  • Interview: 20%
  • Court Involvement: 20%
  • Vote: 40%

Voting for the Homecoming Court will open on January 22, 2024. To cast your vote, follow the instructions below: 

  1. Login to DSConnect (using your DS credentials)
  2. Click on "Forms"
  3. Click "2024 Homecoming Ballot"

Congratulations to all of the Homecoming Court Members. These individuals were nominated by their peers to represent various groups across campus. After accepting their nominations, they formally applied and were interviewed to receive their spot on the court. Students will have the opportunity to vote for Homecoming Court Royalty from January 22 at 8:00 am - February 2 at 9:00 pm:

Homecoming is a special time of year where current students, alumni, faculty, staff, and friends can all come together to celebrate their Roadrunner Pride.
