7:30 pm - 9:00 pm
Brown Hall 105

NOTE: This event is NOT hosted by LASO; that is the only organization available for me to choose right now, although I did submit the English Department as an organization and it was approved. This event is hosted by the School of Arts and Sciences/English dept.Dalton State College’s Department of English, working with the School of Arts and Sciences, is hosting an event with local author and attorney McCracken Poston, whose recent new book Zenith Man presents a compelling, notorious local legal case involving a neurodivergent client accused of murder.  This event will include a panel moderated by Dr. Nava from our Criminal Justice department and some of her students, as the case involves a false accusation and complicated trial and defendant. The panel will also include Professor Jacqueline Boals and students from the English department who may focus on the more literary aspects of writing, the writing process, and getting published. This event is open to the larger community and is being held Wednesday, 4/3, at 3:30 p.m. in Brown Hall 105 on the Dalton State College campus. Refreshments will be served.
