Chemistry, BS – Secondary Education Teacher Certification Option

The Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with a Secondary Education Teacher Certification Option at Dalton State gives you comprehensive learning opportunities geared towards your future in the chemistry sciences as well as prepares you for initial teacher certification as a middle school life and physical sciences or high school chemistry teacher. In this track you will complete chemistry and education courses along with field experience in both a middle and high school setting, culminating in a final semester-long internship and two-week student teaching experience when you will assume control of lesson planning, lesson implementation and classroom management.
