Why did you choose Dalton State? I chose Dalton State College because it is close to home, and I enjoy the welcoming feeling.

What does it mean to you to be part of the Roadrunner Nation? It means to be part of an educated community. It is fitting in with students that are working for a successful career.

What do you plan to do after graduation? I plan to go to school to be a physician’s assistant, and I hope to join more environment friendly groups in order to help the planet and educate people.

Who is/was your favorite professor and why? My favorite professor is Dr. Ford because he is really smart and funny. He is very helpful when it comes to math, and he made calculus fun.

What are some of your favorite activities in and around Dalton? I enjoy walking the trails, eating at the local vegan spots, spending time with friends and relaxing at the park.

Where is your favorite study spot? I enjoy studying in the Math Lab because I know everyone there has a common goal, to learn. There are books that are beneficial to my field of study, and I know if I need help, I will get it.

Where is your favorite hangout? As long as I am with those I care about, anywhere is my favorite.

Favorite comfort food? Vegan brownies

Favorite line from a movie? “I am the Lorax. I speak for the trees. I speak for the trees for the trees have no tongues.” – The Lorax

What is your guilty pleasure? Napping for hours

What do you feel most proud of? I feel proud of helping my friends and family become more aware of environmental problems.

If you won the lottery, what would you do? I would donate to less fortunate, give to nonprofit organizations to clean the ocean and buy land with lots of trees and species in order to protect them from deforestation.

What is a skill you’d like to learn and why? I would like to continue to learn more sign language in order to communicate and include the deaf culture.

As a Roadrunner, what does it mean to Run Boldly? As a Roadrunner, Run Boldly means to be fearless, to be set apart, and to do what I enjoy and love. It is a phrase of encouragement, and it is reminder to keep pushing and being proud of my current self while becoming the best version of myself.
