Who are these exams for?
The University System of Georgia requires that students take and pass both US History and US Government in college. When courses are transferred in from another college, a report is sent to the student along with a letter stating exactly how their courses transferred into DSC. This report also shows the University System’s Georgia history and Georgia constitution requirements. If a student takes these college courses at a Georgia college, then the Georgia portions of the requirements are satisfied. If a student takes the courses outside of Georgia, then the Georgia history and Georgia constitution requirements are not satisfied. Even though the out-of-state courses transfer in as the equivalent courses of HIST 2111 or 2112 or POLS 1101, the student still needs to meet the Georgia history and Georgia constitution requirements.
What items can I bring to the test?
The only items allowed in the Testing Center is your ID. Please do not bring any electronic devices.
Where do I pay the fees?
You are not required to pay a proctor payment for this exam.
When is this test offered?
This test is currently proctored remotely. Please visit our online scheduling to find dates.
