Student Health Center Named for White

David Elrod, director of the Dalton State Foundation, shakes Ken White’s hand and thanks him and his wife, Myra, for the donation that made the student health center a possibility at Dalton State. A reception was recently held in his honor where it was announced that the health center would bear White’s name.

Since the Ken White Student Health Center opened this year, there have been more than 1,200 student visits to the clinic. In addition to serving students’ physical health, the health center houses counseling services as well.

White has been a financial supporter of the College for years. He endowed a scholarship and gives regularly to scholarships, as well as athletics.
