Professor Emerita Releases Poetry Collection

Dalton State professor emerita and published author Marsha Mathews will soon release her first full collection of poetry, Beauty Bound. The book explores the human desire to be more attractive in several cultures and countries and the extremes people will attempt to achieve a beauty standard.

The book was selected as a finalist in Main Street Rag’s 2018 poetry book competition. It is scheduled to be released in November, but can be advance ordered at mainstreetragbookstore.com.
