LPN Program Praised

Dalton State’s licensed practical nursing program was recently noted as being in the top five in the state for license testing pass rates.

The LPN program was mentioned in The Georgian Nurse, the official publication of the Georgia Board of Nursing, for its students’ success rates during the last four years in taking the National Council Licensure Examination for Practical Nurses.

Dalton State’s average success rate was 96.77 percent, compared to the state average of 90.88 percent and the national average of 83.96 percent.
