Peer Education

Peer Education is comprised of students dedicated to helping their peers develop the skills, knowledge, and confidence needed to continue growing as independent learners. Through knowledge sharing and peer facilitation, Peer Educators connect with students to support their personal and academic growth.
Peer Education encompasses a variety of free academic and student success supports, including One-on-One Tutoring, the Math & Science Learning Center, the Writing Lounge, and student success skill-building programs, including the department’s signature Building Essential Academic Knowledge (BEAK) program.

We offer support at every stage of your academic journey to help you achieve your goals and strengthen your skills, including assistance with:

  • Course Content – Build understanding and confidence in course concepts.
  • Exam Preparation – Develop strategies to prepare effectively for quizzes and exams.
  • Writing Support – Strengthen your writing at any stage of the writing process, from brainstorming to revision.
  • Student Success Skills – Build practical skills such as studying, time management, note-taking, organization, and more.
