Join the DSC campus in a friendly competition to see which area/school can donate and do the most good. Help our community by donating toys, household items, and canned food.New toys between $20 and $25 dollars will be collected and taken to the Salvation Army for their “Sharing is Caring” Christmas program. Toilet paper and laundry detergent collected will be taken to Whitfield senior residents. Canned goods and pantry items will be distributed to DSC’s Birdfeeder and DSC’s Social Work Food Pantry at Dalton High School.Donations will be collected beginning Monday, 9/28, until Monday,11/23. Donations will be collected in the following buildings, and the schools and areas listed in parentheses represent each building’s affiliation: • Brown – School of Education • Lorberbaum – School of Arts and Sciences • Gignilliat – Wright School of Business • Pope (2nd floor) – RSOs, Fiscal Affairs (including Residential Life), Public Safety, Plant Ops, President’s Office, Provost Office, Foundation, Library, Student Enrollment & Success, Athletics, and Marketing • Sequoya – School of Arts and Sciences • Ken White Health Professions (2nd floor – Social Work) – School of Health ProfessionsThe school or area that donates the most supplies will earn a trophy to display in its building.
