Dalton State to Host Graduate School Fair

Posted on

Dalton State College’s Career and Professional Development will host its annual graduate school fair on Wednesday, Oct. 13 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Gignilliat Hall on campus. There is still time for institutions to participate.

The fair gives students and alumni the opportunity to speak with representatives from universities across Georgia and surrounding states to find out more about graduate school programs and admissions requirements, said Mallory Safley, assistant director for Career and Professional Development.

“By attending this event, students will learn more about the specific programs offered, financial aid options, what’s required for admission and get the inside scoop on what schools look for in potential students,” Safley said. “Many schools choose to waive application fees during these types of fairs. Any of our students or alumni considering graduate or professional school would benefit greatly and should make plans to attend.”

Institutions or students and alumni who need more information can contact [email protected].

Career and Professional Development assists students and alumni with applying to graduate and professional school year-round. This includes preparing for entrance exams, essays and personal statements needed for applications and updating resumes or curriculum vitaes. Email [email protected] to set up an appointment.
