John Fuchko, III was recently invested as the sixth Dalton State College president during an investiture ceremony on April 26.
Steeped in academic tradition, investiture ceremonies are held during a president’s first year in office to provide the college and community an opportunity to celebrate a new chapter of leadership.
Dalton State College has established the Keith & Lynn Whitworth Distinguished Chair in Classical Education in its School of Education to strengthen how it prepares future educators to teach.
