Honors Requirements

To be considered for acceptance into the program, students must:

Be a high school graduate prior to beginning the honors curriculum. Dual enrollment students are not eligible.
Be accepted for admission as a full-time student at Dalton State College.
Have a high school unweighted GPA of at least 3.5.
Have an SAT combined score of 1080 on the new test or an ACT combined score of 21.

Complete the Honors Program Application in its entirety, being careful to follow directions; this will ensure proper consideration of the application. The Honors Program Application is a single document that must be downloaded and saved to your device or computer before filling it out. Be sure to save it several times as you enter your information.
Three professional (non-relative) references are required. One reference must be a former teacher. The Honors office at Dalton State will contact the references and send them the required reference form.
