SE&B Equipment Checkout and Rental
Registered Student Organization officers may request to borrow or rent select equipment and event resources through the Office of Student Engagement and Belonging at minimal or no cost, depending on the item and intended use. Organizations are responsible for the care, supervision, and timely return of all equipment while it is checked out in their name.
Any equipment returned damaged, excessively dirty, missing components, or in poor condition beyond normal wear and tears may result in cleaning, repair, or replacement charges to the organization. Failure to return equipment or repeated misuse may impact future checkout privileges.
To reserve equipment from the Office of Student Engagement and Belonging, Registered Student Organization (RSO) officers must submit a request by emailing [email protected] at least one week prior to the intended date of use. Equipment reservations are subject to availability and are granted on a first-come, first-served basis.
The following equipment is available for reservation:
- Blue rolling coolers (2)
- JBL Speakers (2)
- Microphones (2)
- Movie Screen, Speaker, and Projector Kit (must be requested at least 2 weeks in advance)
- Popcorn Machine (Popcorn Kernels and Bags are available to RSOs at no cost, as supplies last)
- iPads (7)
- USB-C Charging Cables
- Assorted Lawn Games
- Assorted Card and Board Games
In addition to reservable equipment, RSOs may access the following supplies at no charge when used exclusively for organization-sponsored events, activities, or promotional purposes:
- Craft Paper
- Construction Paper
- Paint and Paint Brushes
- Balloons
- Helium (access must be requested in advance)
- Scissors
Supplies and equipment provided by the Office of Student Engagement and Belonging are intended solely for approved RSO-related purposes. Use of these resources for personal, academic, or non-organization-related activities is prohibited. Failure to comply with this policy may result in replacement or usage fees, disciplinary action, and/or the loss of future access to equipment and supplies.
Supplies may be purchased for personal or academic use at a discounted rate, subject to availability.
